The only method – Abdul Umar

…What’s the question to your answer?…

My dad asks this many times. He says, why can’t maths have 1 formula that when mastered, it could be applicable to any equation in the world? Anytime he went for a test, he learnt just a formula that probably helped him get f9 .

His question may sound funny to the ears? But believe me, deep down that question lies some funny truths.

Think about it for a minute. How would it feel if we could learn a formula in maths that when applied, yields the answer we are looking for. How would it feel if we could use 1 flow or rhyme for every girl and when applied, wins the girl over. How would it feel if we could use 1 method in life and every other thing falls in place?

It would probably be awesome because there would be no use for school because you are rest assured ,that knowing just that 1 formula to life would take you to that level of success which you crave and desire for….

Sadly, not only that we can’t have 1 formula, we also cannot have the same question, role or pattern to help us navigate through our lives to success… Why do we always feel down,

Why do we let our hopes down the gutter, Why do we feel wounded and broken when people around us use certain formulas to greatness and when we use those same formulas, we end up as nothing. With big f9s on our faces.

We don’t have the same questions!!!!!! Just as much as each question has its own formula, so does each of our life carry its own question which comes with his own formula. Just because it works for me who told you it would for you? Our destinies are different! And most of all Gods plan for each and every 1 of us is different!

The only method, the only way, the only road that is applicable to all aspects of each and every one of our lives, our relationships, our families, our successes, and our future is Jesus.

Once you have him, all other things follow! Called to obedience

‘A touching story’- Jemimah Mamza

It was cold and dark. Kayla lay still on the cold floor helpless. She was alone, in agonizing pain. She could barely move. She felt like she was being torn apart slowly. All she could do was cry. Tears rolled down her face, she wished she were dead.

Lying there still, she heard a voice say “I am with you.” She tried to look around but the darkness was thick. Being a woman of good faith, she recalled that still and calm voice.

She thought to herself, “How am I going to fight this pain?” In the midst of this deadly pain, something kept her going.

Suddenly, it got worse. The pain was sharper and she let out a loud scream. Almost immediately, she felt a form of tension around her, like people fighting, only that she couldn’t physically see anything. With her lips moving, she said a short prayer’ “Lord, I submit myself to you, please deliver me.”

Minutes later, she felt the tension go down. Although still in pain, in the cold, she felt sudden peace around her and she quietly said, “thank You Lord.” While she still lay there, she felt the pain leaving her bones, she started feeling warm and gradually all the pain was gone.

Suddenly, she opened her eyes. She realized that she was still in the hospital. She saw a group of family and friends holding hands and praying. Her husband was sitting down beside her with his head on her belly. As she moved as little, her husband lifted his head up. She could see in his eyes that he’d been crying. He then stood up and said in a loud voice, “God has done it, let’s give thanks to Him!” Everyone gathered around her bed and they sang songs and gave thanks to God.

The doctors who came in and examined her were amazed at the miraculous event. Her temperature was normal; her skin was no more pale, her heart rate was normal. It was unexplainable.

She realized that she was not the only one fighting. Then she heard that still and calm voice again saying, “You had faith in me and that’s all I needed from you. It’s never over till I say it’s over. I’m always with you. I’ll never leave you.” Finally, she smiled.

James 1:2-4 “consider it great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But endurance must do its complete work so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.”

Psalm 34:18 “the Lord is near the broken hearted; He saves those crushed in the spirit.”

So often, we forget that God is always with us. Other times, we believe that He is with us only when good things are happening but really, He’s always with us.

Sometimes, God allows us to go through trials as a test of faith. Whenever we find ourselves in situations that human strength cannot handle, whenever our spirits are crushed, whenever our hopes are dashed, remember that God is with us and he will see us through. Whenever we feel like giving up, remember that God’s angels are fighting our battles, we just have to pray, have faith and endure. We should be strong and courageous. We should be fearless because God will help and deliver us once we believe.

So hello guys…today i feel the urgent need to blog about this book ‘Faith over fear’, it’s actually from wattpad… I’m a wattpad fan from day one… So i was reading through and i stumbled on Abigail Rayne… Lemme just say Abigail is a really inspiring author…Faith over fear captivated me i couldn’t stop… Lemme give her summary

Rylyn Delson has a very crazy quiet life… She lives with her Dad and her life is pretty much around him.

David Ark just moves into town as a youth teacher at Rylyns church… Immediately he and Rylyn stroked a cord… Rylyn is also quite emotional.

After a fight with her friend, Rylyns dad is shot and he telles her to run… She runs but get injures… Dave and Mirrisa come to the rescue.

The days after are full of an emotional distaster as Rylyn adjusts to the change in her private life to an exposed life… At the end she gets adopted not just under fostal care…

Abigail does know how to end a book (no sarcasm)… The book ends with Rylyn finding out she has a sister… Epic

So that’s my summary… Go to and read Faith over Fear

…Heaven wins….

Our ways and methods, ideologies and level of understandings, opinions and mindset are completely different from Yours

You see love and mercy; we see tons of problems You see a new revival; we see a storm You see healing; we see pain

We often wish many things in our lives didn’t have to come and go the way they do….But You allow them to bend us just so we learn that that You have won since the beginning of time and you would continue to win till the end of times because your ways are true

Heal our hearts and make it clean Break our heart from what breaks yours Help us to say thank you in the mist of pain because only You know best for each and everyone of us…

Beautiful poetry

Soo today im posting a poem by one of history’s greatest… William Shakespeare himself… Shakespeare was rumored to have loved another lady asides Anna Hathaway (who he married at 18 when she was 2 years older: clearly he couldn’t hold himself). Anyways its rumored that he wrote romantic poems for that lady and this is one. For literary lovers this poem has an exquisite style. For everyone, i personally have a modern rendition of this poem… Ill blog it one of this d… Have fun reading the shakespearean sonnet 18:

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?Thou art more lovely and more temperate:

Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,

And summer’s lease hath all too short a date;

Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,

And often is his gold complexion dimm’d;

And every fair from fair sometime declines,

By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d;

But thy eternal summer shall not fade,

Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st;

Nor shall Death brag thou wander’st in his shade,

When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st

So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,

So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.
— William Shakespeare

You’re not alone – Abdul Umar

We cry in pains when we often feel alone
We desperate for just one answer to many other questions left unanswered
We fall on our knees and shout in agony, “Where are you”!!!!!!!!!
Our opinions disregarded, believes templed upon and hopes buried in the deepest grounds…..
Often left crushed, wounded and broken….In the loudest silence😪
(Gods very own method of making each and everyone of us the better tomorrow)

New music is my favorite music. When the new R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Gospel songs get too familiar, I switch to a different genre where everything sounds new and different.

That’s how I found Lecrae a few years back. I Google cool gospel music and then i stumbled on background from Rehab.

I started listening to Lecrae’s top hits and realized this guy is special. I couldn’t understand why he was in with Gospel Rap when most of his songs weren’t preachy and rarely mentioned God, Jesus, or scripture. They were just great hip-hop productions with positive, uplifting, encouraging lyrics that talks about overcoming the hard-knock-life

Early this year I saw a release of Unashamed by Lecrae… I seriously tried downloading but it wouldn’t work and i couldn’t find it in Nigerian bookstores… Then a friend emailed it and i was starstruck through out.

I was hooked in the introduction where he describes being at the 2015 Grammies, nominated in the Best Rap Performance category with Drake, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar, but also being virtually ignored by the stars and the paparazzi. I had no idea he had previously won a couple Grammies in the Gospel category.

The book talks about his struggles being raised by a single mom after his dad walked out and how that affected him well into his adult years. He wasn’t an athlete, scholar, or thug, but participated in all three. He found the arts as his refuge, but didn’t want his thug friends to know.

Despite regularly attending church as a kid, it was only in college that his Christian faith blossomed. But, that didn’t come without several traumatic periods of doubt and backsliding, eventually landing him in a clinic for depression.

He started as a Christian Rap artist but evolved into a rapper whose style is more suited to mainstream rap. His message is never centered on violence, drugs, guns, profanity, misogyny, and the normal stuff you often hear. That’s why he doesn’t describes himself as a Christian Rapper, but as a Rapper who is Christian.

There’s no such thing as Christian Rap and Secular Rap. Only people can become Christians. Music cannot accept Jesus into its heart. I’m not trying to make Christian music or secular music; I’m just making music.  – Lecrae

Two-time Grammy winning rap artist, Lecrae, learned this lesson through more than his share of adversity—childhood abuse, drugs and alcoholism, a stint in rehab, an abortion, and an unsuccessful suicide attempt.

Along the way, Lecrae attained an unwavering faith in Jesus and began looking to God for affirmation. Now as a chart-topping industry anomaly, he has learned to ignore the haters and make peace with his craft. The rap artist holds nothing back as he divulges the most sensitive details of his life, answers his critics, shares intimate handwritten journal entries, and powerfully models how to be a Christian in a secular age.

This is the story of one man’s journey to faith and freedom.
